Mustafa Karahan

Chairman

Mustafa Karahan graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University with a degree in Economics. He later earned an MBA in Finance from the New York Institute of Technology–Old Westbury. He began his career in 1992 as a Trading Specialist at Eximbank. Over the years, he has held numerous roles including Marketing Specialist at Broadway Inc. STEPS NY, Trading Specialist at Demirbank and HSBC Bank, and Director at Bright Future Ventures and the Energy Financing Team. Between 2016 and 2021, he served as Vice President at Energy Pool. He has also served as a Board Member at Montel Foreks Inc. and the Energy Markets Operation Company (EPİAŞ), and as Chairman of the Turkey Energy Summit. Since 2012, he has been a Director at Dragon Energy. Since 2013, he has served as Vice Chairman of the Energy Traders Association (ETD). Since 2021, he has been a Board Member at Naturelgaz, and as of 2023, he continues to serve as Director at Energy Pool.
